Pam Hausner, MMTCP (she/her)

My approach

I am a mindfulness meditation teacher who integrates mindfulness and wisdom teachings with creative experiences for personal development.

My mindfulness training and teaching experience:

She is a graduate of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) and their Mindfulness Mentor Training Program. Her certifications include Socially Engaged Buddhist Training, Art Therapy Practitioner, and SoulPages® Mentor. She is currently enrolled in a dharma teacher training program through The Buddhadharma Studies Institute. She also serves as a board member for MMTCP Alumni, and is a member of the Professional Advisory Council for The Resilient Activist.

My mindfulness journey

My mindfulness teaching journey began as a graduate of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, and their Mindfulness Mentor Training Program. I am currently enrolled in a dharma teacher training program through the Dharma Teacher Order (DTO). Through the DTO, I am also a mentor in the Buddhist Correspondence Course for incarcerated people across the U.S. I also love integrating mindfulness and insight with creative experiences, often using mixed media. It is exciting to provide the wisdom and transformative power of mindfulness in accessible ways through art and creativity. I am certified as a SoulPages Mentor (visual art journaling) and often teach in the SoulPages Facilitator training program. You can find some of my lessons for mindful art journaling on my website or in several online art summits throughout the year. I am trained to teach Mindful Self-Compassion for Teens, an important program that I wish I could have accessed during my adolescent years. This 8-week program teaches essential skills to help youth develop resiliency and emotional well-being that will benefit them immediately and for the rest of their lives. Finally, I am the owner of Big Vision Design, a marketing agency I've had since forever that serves businesses and nonprofits who are committed to making a positive impact in the world, and Guide Garden, a new entrepreneurial community for emerging heart-centered teachers. I joyfully serve on the Professional Advisory Council for The Resilient Activist.

The populations I serve:
