Tatiana Padron, CMT-200

My approach

I am dedicate to supporting our Latina community as a bilingual (Spanish and English) certified mindfulness teacher and an accredited ontological coach with the International Federation of Professional Ontological Coaching (FICOP).

My mindfulness training and teaching experience:

Tatiana has undergone extensive training, including: MTT-200 with Midwest Alliance for Mindfulness, IPP with UCLA, Institute of Semel, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program - a rigorous 2-year journey with Sounds True and the University of California’s Greater Good Science Center, Member and accredited CMT-M with the International Mindfulness Teacher Association, and MBSR Certified Teacher Training with Brown University - in progress. Tatiana's teaching ethos centers around mindfulness Vipassana meditation, with a particular passion for long retreats in Spirit Rock and focusing on aspects such as loving-kindness, equanimity, and compassion. She finds solace and rejuvenation in nature, often spending her weekends by lakes or in serene outdoor settings with her partner and her daughter. Though her dancing has taken a backseat, she still believes in the profound connection between mindfulness and embodied experiences, emphasizing the importance of integrating both mind and body. Tatiana is dedicated to supporting her Latina community, drawing from her own experiences as an immigrant to navigate the complex landscape of political, social, and abusive trauma. Through her work, she aims to offer mindfulness as a transformative tool, always mindful of creating a trauma-sensitive environment where individuals can heal and thrive.

My mindfulness journey

Tatiana is a multifaceted individual, embodying the roles of an artist, professor, ontological coach, and mindfulness-informed teacher. With a rich background encompassing American-Venezuelan heritage, indigenous roots, and Croatian ancestry, she identifies as a citizen of the world. Having resided in various countries and reinvented her life multiple times, she has found her home in Lenexa, Kansas, for over a decade. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Tatiana thrives on diversity, relishing the opportunity to work with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and communities. Her journey into mindfulness began in Caracas, Venezuela, in 2014, where she embarked on her path as an Ontological Coach.

The populations I serve:
